I'm so sick of forgetting myself to remember who I am.

My brother and his wife came over tonight. I don't have many friends of my own so I usually hang out with them on weekends. Besides I want to soak up all of my bro that I can before I move. I am going to miss my family terribly. Well we watched the movie Saved! tonight. A great movie about Jesus freaks. I kind of liken born again Christians to Republicans. They don't want to hear anybodies views because theirs are the only ones they think should exist. I get angry with people like that. I try my best not to tell people their views are wrong. I like to hear both sides of the argument. But recently I found out that at work I am surrounded by staunch Republicans and they just corner me and tell me I am wrong. When I try to tell them why I think what I think they just don't want to hear it. Sort of like that prick O'Reilly who is getting exactly what he deserves with that lawsuit. He just loves to tell people to shut up as soon as their opinion differs from his. I used to be like that, but I have been trying to be more open minded. I just get agitated with people who think Jesus is the answer to everything. I mean I don't really believe in all that stuff. I think that maybe there was somebody named Jesus once upon a time, but people have to remember the bible was written by man. And man as we know loves to embellish the facts a bit. Anyhow...if there was a God, he did give us free will and the power to make our own decisions. So all these Christians going around hating homosexuals and anybody else for that matter are just crazy. Why would God have made us so different if he wanted us all to be the same? I guess that was the message of the movie Saved! People eventually learn in the film that you can't live your life according to the bible. It would be nice to be able to make amendments to the bible, but you know religious fanatics would no allow it.
