OK, so I have been working on my costume for this party on the 30th. SO far I have everything I need, the make up is in the mail and the custom made wig is coming...only thing now is the most important thing. The Scissors...I made the scissors out of foam board at first, but I wasn't happy with this. I know this whole post is probably redundant, but I did try to make them out of wood. Spent an hour in the garage with my scroll saw and was scrolling away and cutting them out of wood. But the wood turned out to be more flimsy than the foam board. So back to the drawing board...I may just get more foam board and try with those again. The biggest issue I have with the foam board is the edges weren't straight, but I am willing to bet that it is because I used a shoddy hobby knife. I think I need to buy a quality knife...they always say a mechanic is only as good as his tools...anyhow, life is going good so far. Got paid today, took care of my bills so everything is well. Got my new magazine in the mail...it's called Giant. It likes a entertainment magazine for men. I guess it is a cross between Entertainment Weekly and Maxim. So far it is pretty damn good. It's pretty good reading in addition to the complete works of Edgar Allan Poe. Wonderful reading, well I just want to say good luck and we're all counting on you.
